Far From Kansas is led by a respected and experienced team from a range of musical backgrounds.

Simon SharpSimon Sharp (Interim Musical Director/Pianist) specialises in contemporary musical theatre. His freelance work includes composing, arranging, conducting and playing with numerous and renowned companies and artistes. His work as a pianist spans both theatrical and classical platforms, performing internationally and all the major London and UK concert halls. Simon is currently working with composer Jimmy Roberts and lyricist Joe Di Pietro on new orchestrations for The Thing About Men. He is Musical Director for the Musical Theatre Course at Arts Educational School.

Paul TamePaul Tame (Interim Deputy Musical Director) has been a professional performer and musician for over 25 years. His training background encompasses music, dance, singing, acting, piano and teaching. Currently Paul is a freelance piano and singing teacher with special interests including pre-instrumental training and preparing young performers for music, piano and singing study.

Andrea BrownAndrea Brown (Interim Deputy Musical Director) studied singing at St Andrews University, later going on to the RSAMD and winning a scholarship to the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. She was a finalist in the EMN International Young Artists Competition 1999. With a background in early music, she gives lecture recitals at Hampton Court Palace and performs internationally as a soloist and with ensembles including the Academy of Ancient Music, Chapelle du Roi and Ex Cathedra. She recently performed at The Globe as one of the soloists in The Tempest.
